CLOTH. PLAY
玩.坭.紗
I see playfulness, reminiscing a time when we take pleasures in things uncomplicated. Our minds were less crowded with different imposed values then, there was more room for imagination. Playfulness, because they are from untrained hands and mind? Or is it using a language that we are not familiar with? May be the maker intentionally injected this playful quality, it is his view of the world.
PLAY, with a light-hearted attitude, with no pre-conceived goals, working with curious minds, exploring materials and oneself. Each piece becomes a preservation of an experience, extensions of oneself. It is a message from the maker, conveying feelings that are inherent in the actions. More than words.
