1. Saori Weaving
Participants will have a chance to create your own piece of weaving. If you want to keep your work, it will require continual work. Minimum 4 hours. You will be taught basic skills in the first two hours, you are then left to weave on your own to make your piece of a scarf, hanging or mat. Due to popularity of past classes, we have 3 time slots to suit different needs this time.

Date: 26 July (Tues) to 31 July (Sun) 2005
Class A: 10am – 2pm
Class B: 2:30pm – 6:30pm
Class C: 6:30pm – 10:30pm
Tutor: Staff & members from SAORI weaving, Salvation Army
Fees: $350 (4 hrs), additional hrs weaving at the loom is at $80 per hr
Material cost: woven piece to be weighed after it is cut off the loom, $60 per lb/500gm

參加者可以創作自己的布料．如想擁有自己織的布，參加者最少連續編織4小時．首兩小時將教授基本織布技巧，其後兩小時就由參加者自己創作圍巾，掛飾和氈子．由於過往的織布班反應熱烈，我們設有3個時段讓參加選擇．

2. Small Frame Tapestry Weaving
To weave graphic patterns, we introduce tapestry weaving on a small frame. Instead of a shuttle, we will use needles to thread the yarn. It is possible to weave more three-dimensional and intricate work.
In Week 1, we will learn how to warp the loom, and weave with basic techniques. Participants are welcome to take the loom/tools back home to practice.
In Week 2, we will learn more advanced skills. You are allowed to keep the loom for another week, and from then onwards if you want to rent the loom you will be charged. You can make a small hanging, material for a bag, or book marks. There is wide choice of material available for the project.

小架繪織
織出線性圖案，我們介紹小架繪織，以針線取代織布機，把毛冷織出更立體及複雜的圖案．第一星期將會教授如果製作小架，你可以把小架帶回家；第二個星期則教授更高的繪織技巧，你仍可於第二星期把小架帶回家，之後亦可向我們租用小架繼續繪織．你可以織出掛飾，手袋物料或書簽，亦有大量不同物料提供．

3. Clay-play at St. James' Pottery Workshop A chance to understand the story behind the setup of the St. James’ Pottery Workshop, learn how the mentally-challenged clients benefit from the programme. Also hands on introduction to working with clay. The tutoring will be assisted by the potters who are showing their work in our current exhibition. Class A: 30 July 2005 (Sat)
Class B: 8 Aug 2005 (Mon)

4.Stitch on Cloth
An interactive workshop between child and parent. The child draws a picture and the parent is guided to interpret the drawing into a decorated cloth using various techniques. The pair work together to choose materials and colours. No former experience in stitch craft is required. This workshop focus on exploring craft in cloth as a story-telling, interpretation media, through the process, bonding the relationship between the partners. Please come with few of your child’s drawings, so that we can make choices on the images to interpret on cloth.

布藝針黹
讓家長和子女互動的工作坊．先由小朋友畫出一幅圖畫， 導師會引導學員將圖像變成漂亮的布藝．父母和孩子一起選擇物料和顏色．沒有針黹經驗者也適合參加．透過手工，讓參加者用一個不同媒介說故事及表達自己，聯繫著父母與子女關係的手工．
